Psalm 19

This 5"x7" original acrylic painting with a crackled finish illustrates the Bilbical verse from Psalm 19: "The heavens declare the glory of God," which is painted around the double-beveled frame. A lamb/sheep looks up at the moon and stars in the night sky.

And where is the boy who looks after the sheep? He 's under the haystack, fast asleep! In addition is a barn. The first line of the poem surrounds the image. It is set in a 2" hand-grained frame and is the companion piece to "Mary Had a Little Lamb."

Mary Had a Little Lamb

This 11"x14" acrylic painting illustrating the poem "Mary Had a Little Lamb" was a "must do" painting after I moved to Sterling, MA, the home of Mary Sawyer, the inspiration for this poem. It is available in a self-published limited-edition print along with a few other similar versions and an original can be special ordered. Both the original and the print are framed in 2'' hand-granined frames.

Framed Print

Psalm 19

This is self-published limited-edition 8"x10"print of an acrylic painting I have painted in many versions over the years. "Psalm 19 • The heavens are telling the glory of God" surrounds the image of a sheep looking up into the starry heavens with an eyelash moon.

This print can be framed under glass in a 1" painted and grained frame in your choice of colors.

Psalm 23

This painting illustrates the well-known and beloved Bible verse from Pslam 23: the Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. The lamb is lying in the green pasture, by the still waters, with a fruit tree for food and shade.

This is an original acrylic painting with an oil glaze. The frame is painted with the verse as well as the faux graining.
